FISHING CONTEST

ADULTS – Residents and their guests are welcome

Entry Fee    $10.00 per person (children may enter, but they must pay the entry fee)

Time            6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.           Bring largest fish to the launch dock for final weigh-in by

                                                                        10:00 a.m. SHARP

                                                                        Largest fish must be kept for pictures.

Prizes            50% of amount to the largest BASS –Bass MUST be released unharmed, where caught

                     25% of amount to the largest CATFISH (bull heads do not count)

                    *25% of amount to the largest  MUSKIE

* Muskie must be weighed immediately after being caught to reduce stress to the fish.

CHILDREN – 12 and under   Bluegill/sunfish contest

Entry Fee    None – MUST submit entry form

 Prizes          $25 largest bluegill/sunfish

 Children must set the hook and catch the fish (Mom or Dad may bait the hook and cast out).

 REFRESHMENTS - Hot dogs, brats and refreshments will be served after the weigh-in. All contestants are welcome.

 We request all entries be turned in by 8:00 p.m. on July 1^st, but no later than July 8^th.

RULES

 Idle speed only on the entire lake during the contest.

 Shotgun start - start fishing at 6: a.m. wherever you are

 Weigh-in at the boat launch; picnic at the beach. Boats can be beached or tied to the docks.

 Entry fee will be used for:

 ·        $25 child’s prize
  ·        Refreshments  
  ·        Prize money

 All prize money will be distributed to winners. For example, if no catfish is caught, that money will be
  given to the second largest bass caught.
