Shorewood has a 240 acre lake, with nine miles of shoreline. There is a clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, central water system, sanitary sewers, paved roads with curbs and gutters (deeded to the county), playgrounds, parks, nature preserves, walking trails and a recreational field.

  Shorewood boasts a state-of-the-art 25 meter 6-lane pool with a 20' x 30' diving well as well as a 16' x 24' wading pool. Swimming lessons and water aerobics are offered to residents in the summer. The P.O.A. has 66 rental boat docks and a boat-launching ramp. Use of the lake is for members only. The lake is stocked with bass, crappie, perch, channel cat and blue gills. We have a very active group of fisherman who enjoy the sport year round.
